The in-cosmetics Global 2026 event in Paris has ended with record results. The global beauty industry gathered in large numbers, making this the biggest edition so far. The event welcomed 12,559 unique visitors and confirmed its role as a leading platform for personal care ingredients and innovation.
The show brought together brands, suppliers, and scientists from across the world. International visitors made up 67% of attendance, showing strong global interest. Major beauty companies such as L’Oréal, Chanel, Estée Lauder, Coty, and Puig took part in discussions and product showcases.
Organisers said the event reflected the fast change in the beauty industry. New ideas, science-based products, and wellness-focused trends shaped many of the displays. The focus was not only on cosmetics but also on health, nutrition, and long-term skin care.
A major highlight was the introduction of the Inner Beauty Zone. This new area focused on beauty-from-within products. These included gummies, drinks, powders, and capsules designed to support skin, hair, and overall wellness.
The products targeted issues such as skin aging, hydration, and pigmentation. Ingredients like collagen, vitamin C, turmeric, and plant-based extracts were widely used. Visitors also had the chance to taste several supplements at a special testing area.
Awards were given for the best-tasting nutricosmetic products. Companies such as Lubrizol and Symrise were recognised for their innovative formulations. Industry experts said this reflects growing demand for wellness products that are both effective and enjoyable.
Speakers at the event highlighted strong growth in the wellness sector. Studies suggest the market will continue expanding in the coming years. Experts noted that beauty, nutrition, and health are becoming more connected than ever before.
Exhibitors also showed new scientific tools and technologies. Some companies presented systems that measure emotional responses to beauty products using neuroscience and AI. Others introduced plant-based extracts designed to support skin health and slow aging.
One of the strongest themes was “beauty meets wellness.” Products now target sleep, mood, gut health, and even stress. This shows that the industry is moving beyond traditional skincare into full-body health solutions.
A record 233 entries were presented in the Innovation Zone. These included new ingredients for skin aging, scalp care, natural formulas, and eco-friendly solutions. The high number of entries reflects how quickly the industry is evolving.
Many companies focused on sustainability. New products included upcycled ingredients, circular production methods, and microplastic-free formulas. Biotechnology was also widely used to create more advanced and eco-friendly skincare solutions.
Several major product launches took place during the event. These included microbiome-friendly oils, plant-based skin boosters, and next-generation anti-aging ingredients. Companies also introduced AI-powered tools to improve product development and testing.
Fragrance innovation was another key area. New scent technologies focused on mood, relaxation, and emotional wellbeing. Perfume companies showed how fragrance is now used not just for smell, but also for mental and emotional effects.
The event also included over 239 educational sessions. These covered topics such as skincare science, aging, nutrition, and sustainable beauty. Industry experts shared research and discussed future trends in personal care.
Organisers said networking was very strong throughout the event. More than 141,000 digital interactions were recorded as visitors connected with companies and partners. Many exhibitors reported high numbers of business meetings and new leads.
Experts said the event clearly showed the direction of the global beauty industry. Science, wellness, and sustainability are becoming central to product development. Companies are also using more advanced technology, including AI and biotechnology.
Event leaders said the strong turnout and innovation level made this the most successful edition so far. They also confirmed that the next event will take place in Barcelona in 2027, where further growth and new trends are expected.
