Paris is set to host a major beauty industry gathering as MakeUp in Paris and Édition Spéciale by Luxe Pack come together on June 17 and 18 at the Carrousel du Louvre. The event will bring global cosmetic brands, suppliers, and innovators under one roof to showcase new ideas in beauty, skincare, and luxury packaging.
The combined trade shows are organized by Infopro Digital Trade Shows. The goal is to improve visitor experience and strengthen connections across the beauty and luxury supply chain. The event will focus on innovation, sustainability, and new technologies shaping the future of cosmetics and packaging.
One key highlight of the event is sustainable luxury packaging. Édition Spéciale by Luxe Pack will present solutions designed for brands that want to reduce environmental impact while maintaining premium quality. The section will feature 90 exhibitors from industries including perfumery, cosmetics, fashion, wines, spirits, and leather goods.
Among the well-known exhibitors are Baralan, Brandart, Knoll, Favini, Gainerie 91, Gmund, Kurz, Vimer, Cosmotec, Myprod, and Berlin Packaging Beauty. New participants include Canson, known for high-end paper products, Meba Bioresine, which specializes in bio-based resins, and Danzer AG, a company focused on decorative wood materials.
The exhibition will also feature a start-up zone highlighting new sustainable material technologies. Companies such as Alterskin, Foamlab, Lactips, and Sericyne will present innovations ranging from biodegradable plastics to recyclable foams and silk upcycling solutions. These startups aim to reshape how packaging is designed and produced in the future.
Alongside packaging innovation, MakeUp in Paris will focus on beauty and skincare development. The platform connects ingredients suppliers, formulation experts, packaging designers, contract manufacturers, and full-service producers. It also includes educational sessions and trend presentations for industry professionals.
The event will showcase more than 100 innovations recognized by the Innovation & Trends Awards. It will also feature over 150 exhibitors from 30 countries and more than 30 speakers. Organizers say the goal is to support collaboration and highlight emerging trends in the global beauty market.
Several new exhibitors will present cutting-edge technologies and products. Flosty will introduce its makeup packaging line made in France and Spain, with flexible production options and premium finishing techniques such as laser engraving and anodizing.
Essentia Beauty will present a new digital tool called Matrix Revolution. It uses artificial intelligence and selfies to recommend personalized mascara options based on individual facial features. The system matches consumers with the most suitable brush and formula combinations.
Another participant, Livcer, a French company specializing in single-dose cosmetic samples, will showcase a new small-batch filling service designed for limited production runs. This reflects growing demand for flexible and personalized beauty product testing.
Industry professionals say the event has become an important meeting point for global beauty players. Since its launch in 2010, MakeUp in Paris has grown into a key platform for networking and innovation while maintaining a boutique-style experience in a premium setting.
According to Sonia Cerato, Global Marketing Director at MYC Beauty Innovation, the event continues to evolve while keeping its strong identity. She said it brings together the full value chain and encourages meaningful exchanges between participants.
The 2026 edition is expected to strengthen the connection between sustainability and innovation in beauty. With increasing pressure on brands to reduce environmental impact, packaging and formulation solutions are becoming central to product development strategies.
By combining two major events into one location, organizers aim to create a more unified space for collaboration. The Carrousel du Louvre will serve as a hub for ideas that could shape the next generation of beauty products and luxury packaging worldwide.
