Ross Noble and his wife Fran have listed their luxury home on Australia’s Mornington Peninsula as the family prepares to relocate to England.
The property, valued at around $3.6 million, is located in a quiet and private part of the Mornington Peninsula. The six-bedroom residence reflects the couple’s love of travel, antiques, and unique design features collected from around the world.
Noble, who was born in England, has built a successful international comedy career that regularly takes him between Australia and the United Kingdom. He is well known for his energetic and unpredictable stand-up performances and remains a regular performer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe.
Beyond comedy, Noble has also appeared in films and theatre productions, including Stitches, The Producers, and Young Frankenstein.
According to Fran Noble, privacy was one of the biggest attractions of the family home.
She explained that the property offers complete seclusion despite being only minutes away from shops, schools, restaurants, and cafes.
The home sits on a large garden block along a small dirt road that residents describe as having a village atmosphere similar to the 1980s. Fran Noble said neighbours maintain a friendly relationship while also respecting privacy and quiet living.
The couple spent years renovating the property to create what they described as a warm and comfortable family home filled with character.
Although the house is close to some of the Mornington Peninsula’s best-known beaches, its design gives it the appearance of a countryside home in Europe.
Many features inside the property were sourced internationally.
One of the standout pieces is an antique bathtub dating back to 19th-century France. The wallpapers throughout the house were brought from England, while the pantry door originally came from an old house in India.
Fran Noble also revealed that the chandelier in the lounge room was personally designed using coloured crystals selected individually from an antique market in Paris.
The house includes six bedrooms and six bathrooms, with four of the bedrooms featuring private ensuites.
Large open-plan living areas connect to an outdoor entertainment space equipped with a barbecue area, creating a setting designed for gatherings and social events.
The property also features a games room with its own bar, a study, garage, cellar storage area, and an additional bathroom connected to the storage section.
Fran Noble said the games room became especially popular during recent comedy festival seasons, attracting visiting comedians and entertainers.
While she did not reveal the identities of guests who visited the property, she noted that the home had hosted many members of the comedy world over the years.
Ross Noble remains one of the most recognisable comedians working between Australia and the UK. His spontaneous style and audience interaction have helped him build a loyal international fan base over several decades.
The decision to relocate to England comes as the family prepares for a new chapter after spending years based in Australia.
The Mornington Peninsula property market continues to attract attention from buyers seeking private homes close to Melbourne while still offering coastal living and large outdoor spaces.
Luxury homes in the region have remained popular among entertainers, business figures, and families looking for quieter lifestyles outside major city centres.
Real estate experts say properties with distinctive architecture, international design elements, and strong privacy features often generate strong interest from buyers in the area.
Ross Noble’s home is expected to attract attention not only because of its design and location but also because of its connection to one of the comedy world’s best-known performers.
